Moruya Veterinary Hospital's team of veterinarians are highly educated and always here to help you and your animal through their visit to the animal hospital.

Dr Janelle Dunkley

Janelle graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001. Following graduation she started working at Moruya Veterinary Hospital in December 2001. In March 2004 she left Moruya to travel & work overseas. During her time in England she locumed in small animal practices for the first 2 years & then took a position as an equine veterinarian near London.

In November 2009 Janelle returned to Moruya Veterinary Hospital. She has a strong interest in Equine medicine including equine dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys riding horses, playing sport & exercising her ever present companion Bo.

Dr Camille Addison

 Some locals may remember Camille as she is a returning local. Camille has been in working with the team for the past few months and fitted right in. After graduating from Charles Sturt University with former practice owner Anneliese Geard, Camille worked in Queanbeyan, Braiwood and some short stints throughout Victoria, New South Wales and even Tasmania. Camille has a four year old Kelpie named Hugo who enjoys his morning runs and play on the farm with Ollie his boxer friend.

Dr Sam Lawson

Sam graduated from Sydney University in 1999. His first job was with a mixed practice in South Australia.

He and his partner (Veterinarian Michelle) then moved to England and spent 3 happy years in London.

When he returned, Sam travelled around Australia locuming with various practices.

Sam settled briefly in South Australia before returning to NSW, moving a number of times before settling in Milton to begin a restoration on an old home.

Sam is interested in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery.

Other interests include motor bikes and sailing.

Dr. Nicole Mace

Hailing from Sydney, Nicole has been with the team since January 2015. Nicole's interest in mixed animal practice has seen her make the sea change. After completing a degree in Animal Veterinary Bioscience she was awarded a position in the Sydney University Veterinary course, where she excelled. Although very humble she did top the final year of her course out of 120 students!

Nicole has two playful Neapolitan Mastiff pups named Thor and Rhea. Nicole's interests outside work are scuba diving and pleasure riding.

Nicole is an asset to Moruya Veterinary Hospital with interest in both small & large animals, pocket pets and wildlife.

 Dr Cody Shannon

 Cody grew up in a tiny country town called Beulah in north-west Victoria and graduated Melbourne University in 2016.

During a year off before uni  Cody spent time volunteering in and travelling around Africa for 6 months before spending time with the vets at Johannesburg Zoo.  He then spent the next 6 months working on a thoroughbred mare agistment and stud property where he gained an interest in equine reproductive work. 

  Cody enjoys working with ALL animals big and small, wild and tame and will be filling his free time with fishing, kayaking, hiking, swimming and maybe some footy (aussie rules)
