Vet Nurses

Although not regularly seen out the front of clinic our team of vet nurses do an amazing job behind the scenes and help keep Moruya Veterinary Hospital running smoothly.

Nicki Reid

Nicki has graduated with a Certificate III in Equine Nursing, Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has been working at Moruya Veterinary Hospital for nearly a decade. Her favourite aspects of the job are nursing the medical patients of the animal hospital and enjoys dog grooming. She has a border collie, named Molly who is clipped three times per year to keep her cool during the warmer months and allow for easier tick searches.

When Nicki is not working she enjoys riding, camping and spending time with her gorgeous son Jimmy, new daughter Ashley and fiance' Benny. She is keen on volunteering in international charity schemes such as "vets beyond borders" and has, along with Denise, travelled to India and Ireland with this organisation.

Denise Thomas

Denise not only has the skills to be a qualified Certificate IV Veterinary nurse but you will also see her on the front desk as a friendly receptionist. In addition, Denise is our happy, and at times patient, Puppy Preschool teacher. She also enjoys the animal behaviour aspect of the job.

Denise has a keen interest in travelling with her husband Paul and at present is walking in Nepal. She along with Nicki has travelled to Ireland and India to help these countries with their veterinary care.

Kellie Willams

Kellie is currently studying her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing. With her calm, compassionate nature Kellie is an asset to the Moruya Veterinary Hospital. She has been working at the animal hospital for nearly seven years and enjoys every aspect of her job especially surgical nursing.

Outside of work Kellie loves playing with her 2 year old Kelpie Rex and together they both frequently attend the Moruya Veterinary Hospitals Dog Walk on Thursdays. Not to be outdone, her quarterhorse Oakie gets to share some of Kellie's affection.

Jade Wright

Jade is a Moruya born and bred. You will see Jade out the front on reception and helping out the back as a veterinary nurse. She has just finished her Veterinary Nursing Certificate III course in record time!

Jade has a passion for horses and enjoys helping out with caring for the clinics rehome kittens.
